ShareAmi connects young French learners and French-speaking seniors for weekly video calls. Each pair is supported for 3 months by a facilitator. After that, the duo can continue independently or end the program.

How can I join ShareAmi?

1. Go to the homepage.
2. Select your profile: Learner, Senior, or Volunteer Facilitator.
3. You will be redirected to a registration form!

Is the program free?

Can I join if I’m under 18?

No. ShareAmi is only open to participants aged 18 to 35 (as learners).

What age do I need to be to join as a senior?

You must be 55 or older to join the program as a senior.

What profile is needed to become a senior participant?

You should be a French speaker aged 55 or over, willing to share your language, enjoy intercultural exchange, and want to support a young person.

Who can join as a learner?

You must be a migrant, refugee, international student, or asylum seeker aged 18 to 35 who is learning French.
